Add a wiki to a page
Add a wiki to a page to quickly create and edit content in-line with a wiki.
If you have Editor access, you can add a wiki to a page.
Refer to the WebSphere Portal Family Wiki for an example of how to add blogs or wikis to a custom theme.
- Tagged web content displayed in the JSR 286 web content viewer is only available when there is a single instance of this portlet on the page. When you click on a tag result, the Tag Center broadcasts the information on what content should display in the viewer using a public render parameter. If you have multiple instances of web content being displayed in the JSR 286 web content viewer, then these instances will display the content that you tagged rather than display the original content of these instances. Refer to the related links section of this topic for a link to more information on public render parameters.
After adding a wiki to site, click New Page to add content. To modify content click Edit. To delete a wiki page, click Delete.
- Navigate to the page.
- Click Customize to add a wiki to the page. See Add content for more information on adding content to a page using the Customize link.
- By clicking Customize, you are copying the Web Content Management template library used to create a blog or blog library and placing an instance of the JSR 286 Web content viewer to a page.
- The name that you provide for wiki will display as the portlet title, library display title, and library name when using alphanumeric characters, spaces, and the following characters: such as $ - _ . ! ( ) ,. Other characters will be replaced in the actual library name with characters that are supported by a Web Content Manager library.
