Render plug-ins provided with Web Content Manager
The default Web Content Manager installation provides a number of rendering plug-ins. You can use them to enhance web content with features such as tagging and rating. The rendering plug-ins are shown as selection options when you use the tag helper to insert a plug-in component tag.Tagging
Add this plug-in to a presentation template to provide tagging support for content. For information about how to use this plug-in, see Add a tagging widget to web content.
Rating
Add this plug-in to a presentation template to provide rating options for content items. You can use ratings to gain user feedback on articles or related items. For information about how to use the ratings plug-in, see Add a rating widget to web content.
Site Path
The site path plug-in renders the site path of the current content. This plug-in takes the following attribute:
type = rel | abs
This attributes defines whether the path is relative to the current library or not. If you omit this attribute, it defaults to rel and uses the relative path.
Examples:
[plugin:SitePath type="abs"]
This renders the absolute path.
[plugin:SitePath]
This renders a relative path.
RemoteAction plug-in
The Remote Action plug-in enables you to trigger actions that are typically performed with the authoring portlet, such as creating and editing items and generating views. For information about how to use this plug-in, see Use remote actions.
