Enable mashup integration in the portal (mandatory)
After you configured base portal, you enable mashup integration.
To do this, proceed by the steps given below:
- Open a command prompt and navigate to the directory WP_PROFILE/ConfigEngine.
- Run the configuration task as shown below.
In a clustered environment, run this task on the primary node.
ConfigEngine.sh deploy-portal-mashup-ui
-DWasPassword=was_password
-DPortalAdminPwd=portal_password
If you add passwords to wkplc.properties located in the WP_PROFILE/ConfigEngine/properties directory, you do not need to specify the passwords on the command line.
This script creates a top level page named My Mashups next to the Home node.
- Restart the portal server.
- Configure access control as described under Configuring access control for Mashup Spaces.
If you want non-administrative users to be able to deploy lightweight widgets, configure the WebDav file store accordingly. For details about how to do this refer to the topic about Configuring the WebDAV file store.
