Add a custom layout
You can also add own custom layouts.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Create a new folder for layout resources. Each layout has an icon, a layout.html static page layout template, a metadata.properties file, and localization properties files for each supported language. The HTML template follows the portal static page format. For details about this refer to the topic about Creating static content for the portal. The file metadata.properties holds a property for the thumbnail path relative to the WebDAV filesystem. Use the other layouts in WebDAV at dav/fs-type1/layout-templates as guides.
Addthis folder of files to WebDAV adds the new layout to the default All category under Change Layout in the Customize shelf.
- Refresh browser cache.
- Verify that custom layout has been added successfully to the Customize area.
