Use element designs to define the design and layout of elements.

• Inserting an image in an element

  You can insert images into elements containing an HTML or rich text field using the Insert Image button.

• Inserting a link in an element

  You can insert links into elements containing an HTML or rich text field using the Insert Link button.

• Inserting a link to ECM content

  You can insert links to ECM content into elements containing a rich text field using the Insert ECM Link button.

• Import and exporting HTML

  You can import HTML and export HTML to and from presentation templates and elements that store HTML.

• Use start and end attributes

  The start and end attributes are used to wrap the data returned by an Web Content Management tag within other tags, such as HTML. These attributes are not mandatory.

• Set parameters to format dates

  These parameters are used to set the format of dates.

• Note on formatting numbers

  The Java Number Format Pattern Syntax is used to set the format of numbers.
