Defining Metadata for a content item

Define the Metadata for a content item that is generated from the authoring template. Tip: In most cases, you should specify default values for the following options when creating an authoring template:

• Workflow

• Access control

When selecting default options such as a default workflow, or default categories, you can select items that not all users may have access to. This could mean that if users are allowed to change a default workflow or category, that once changed, the user will not be able to re-select the default item as they do not have access to it.
