Set Lotus Sametime to use a Lotus Sametime token for user login

By default, the credential settings in the CSEnvironment.properties file are set to use an LTPA token for user login. You can override the settings to use an internal IBM Lotus Sametime token instead.

This change is required in a site where the Lotus Sametime server is protected by eTrust SiteMinder.

After making this change, see Related tasks for instructions on resolving the user name for the portal user with the Sametime server user name.

Perform the following steps:

  1. Modify the CSEnvironment.properties file.

  2. To override this setting so that the Lotus Sametime token will be used, change the following setting to the following value:

    CS_SERVER_SAMETIME_1.useLTPAToken=false

If CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.enabled is set to true, and the value for CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.ssoTokenAttrib is set, the token that is set will be used for logging into Lotus Sametime instead of the LTPA token.
