Customize process integration pages

You can customize the process integration pages that are automatically created during process integration enablement. You can also move the Task List portlet to other pages and control how users are redirected to other pages when they close their task pages. Before you perform any of the optional modification tasks, be certain to verify that the automated setup task for process integration has completed successfully.

You can customize the process integration pages by performing one or more of the following optional steps:

  1. Review the task page hierarchy created by the business process integration setup task:

    1. Click Administration > Portal User Interface > Manage Pages.

    2. Click Content Root to view the hierarchy of portal pages, particularly the following pages:

      • Process Integration contains the My Processes and My Tasks pages.

        • Welcome contains the Welcome page for the process integration area.

        • My Processes contains the Process Templates portlet.

        • My Tasks contains the Task List portlet.

      • Task Page Definitions provides the recommended anchor point for additional task pages in the portal page hierarchy and already contains the default Task Page.

  2. You can add or remove pages to and from the process integration area and customize the layout and contents of the existing pages.

You can further grant or revoke access to or from those pages using portal access control.

  3. To move the Task List portlet to another page and you are using task alerts based on the portal-dynamicui:pendingTasks JSP tag, you will have to adjust the processintegration.myTasksPageUniqueName configuration setting accordingly:

    1. Using the Custom Unique Names portlet, assign a unique name to the page that will contain the Task List portlet.

    2. Then change the value of the processintegration.myTasksPageUniqueName property to the unique name of the new page. This property is defined in the Portal Configuration Service, WP Config.
