You can use a procedure provided by the portal for installing the administrator self-help pages and portlets.

To install these pages and portlets...

  1. Update the Administrator self help pages...

      ./ConfigEngine.sh update-service-page -DPortalAdminPwd=password -DWasPassword=password

  2. Activate the portlets:

      ./ConfigEngine.sh activate-portlets -DPortalAdminPwd=password -DWasPassword=password

    For portal clusters, run only on one node, synchronize the nodes, and if necessary activate the portlets.

The two pages with the four portlets are installed and configured under the portal Administration section, which contains useful bookmarks to service and support sites and information, support information feeds, local portal version information, and an update planner portlet that provides information on any recommended or required upgrades for your environment.
