Content sources

You can add content from several categories to your pages.

To do this, click the Customize button.

This opens the Customize shelf. Click the tab Add Content.

The content catalog displays categories of content from several sources that you can add to your pages. Under the Add Content tab you can select the categories listed in the following, depending on your environment and configuration:

• Out of the box you can select the following categories :

  • New. Use this option to add new feeds to your pages.

  • Portlets. Use this option to add new portlets to your pages.

• If you have Web Content Management, you can also add blogs and wikis from under the New category.

• Custom content:

  You can also add and configure your own custom content sources and add them to the Add Content portion of the shelf so that custom content sources can be searched and have their content added to the page in order to render via a custom portlet or widget.
