Add a mashup space from the Mashup Center to the portal

You can add an existing space from the IBM Mashup Center to the portal or the portal cluster.

To do this...

  1. Open the Mashup Center catalog.

  2. List your spaces by selecting List spaces.

    If your space is not listed, make sure that you added or uploaded your space to the Mashup Center catalog successfully.

  3. Click Actions > Add to WebSphere Portal.

  4. Provide the following information about the portal server:

    1. Enter the address of the portal server including the context root, for example http://localhost:10039/wps/.

    2. Use the current credentials or specify a valid alternative.

  5. Click Finish to complete adding the space.

The space is added as a template to the portal, but is not instantiated. Use the space manager to create a space from this newly imported template.
