Exposing as a service provider operations defined in a WSDL document

Use the Web Service Multiple Operations builder to expose operations defined in a WSDL document.

  1. Add a Web Service Multiple Operations builder to a model.

  2. In the builder call editor, enter a name in the Name input, and, in the WSDL URL input, enter the URL for the WSDL document that describes the service to call.

  3. In the builder call editor, click Fetch WSDL to load the WSDL document.

When a WSDL document is loaded, a table is provided that defines all the operations with the defined input and result variables.

  4. For each operation, you can enable caching.

    1. Select the operation name in the table.

    2. Select the builder input for enabling caching for the service results.

    3. Optional: Modify the default cache refresh intervals per operation.

  5. Select the Create Service Definition input.

  6. Expand the section on Testing Support and enable the Add Testing Support, Generate Main and Specify Default Inputs inputs.

  7. Click OK to save your changes, close the builder call editor, and add the builder to your model.

  8. In the builder call list, open the Web Service Multiple Operations builder that you just saved.

The builder then has enough information to populate the names under Operation in the Default Inputs input of Testing Support.
