Creating a new base model

You can create your own base models that will show up in the New Model dialog. You can create base models to provide a common starting point for web application development in your environment. For example, you could create a base model to include functionality that most of your projects use or that simply provide a common starting point for your development.
To create a new base model:

Create the model you want others to be able to use as a starting point.
Save the model to the WEB-INF/models/factory/basemodels directory.
