Changing the format of a date or other type of field

Follow these steps to change the format of a date or other type of field.

  1. Place a Rich Data Definition builder in a model that contains the schema you want to modify.

  2. In the builder editor, select the schema.

  3. Use the builder data definition editor to select a field.

  4. After a field is selected, modify any data definition properties required.

    For example, provide a label, change the data type, select a formatting, translate or validate expression, and require or hide the field.

  5. Select another field and specify additional changes.

  6. Click Apply or OK to apply you data definition changes.
