Chapter 5

This directory contains the following text files:

assets Variable XML.txt
assetsSchema Schema XML.txt

The contents of the assets Variable XML.txt file should be used for the 'Initial Value' input in the assets Variable builder in the assetsService model file, and the contents of the assetsSchema Schema XML.txt file should be used for the 'Schema Source' input of the Schema builder in the same model. 

This directory also contains a WEB-INF folder and factory folder with the following WebSphere Portlet Factory artifacts:

assets.model
assetsService.model
custom_data_paging_buttons.html
custom_gridtable.html

To use these files, you should copy both folders into the 'WebContent' directory of a WebSphere Portlet Factory project in the WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer. You should also set up an application server deployment configuration and a portal server deployment configuration for the project. 

To increase your understanding of WebSphere Portlet Factory, it is recommended that you try and build these artifacts from scratch by following through with the example in chapter 5.
