Requirements to use Lotus WCM Access builder

WebSphere Portal Version 6.0 or later is required.

This builder acts against the IBM® Workplace WCM ™ running on the WebSphere Portal server configured in your project deployment information. The following requirements must be met:

• You must have a deployment configuration correctly configured for your project.

• The project (both development and portlet WAR) must be deployed to the Portal instance.

• You must deploy the project before you use this builder.

  The deployment allows the builder editor to retrieve metadata (for example, document types or properties) from WCM using an internal support model that is deployed with the project.

• Global Security must be enabled.

  If Global Security is not enabled, the builder cannot access WCM at runtime.
