Portlet Factory, Version 6.1.2
High-level regenerated model cache
The highest level of caching in IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory is regenerated model caching. Regenerated model caching is used to store pre-generated WebApps. Storing a pre-generated model allows the WebSphere Portlet Factory to skip the WebApp generation process. By default, the model runtime is always cached.
When a user accesses a model, if the WebApp is not already in the cache the WebApp is generated and placed in the Regenerated WebApp Cache. The next time a user with the same custom profile requests the model, the cached model is used.
