You perform WCM migration as part of your overall IBM WebSphere Portal migration process.

1. Migrate every WebSphere Portal server used in your old Web content system.

   • Migrate Web content libraries
   • Migrate Web Content Viewer portlets

2. Reset the event log to ensure that items are syndicated correctly when syndication is enabled.

3. Enable syndication for all the servers in your new Web content system.
