Set the search user ID
To set the search user ID...
- Open the IBM WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
- Select Applications | Enterprise Applications.
- Look for the application WebScanner.Ear.ear. It is listed under the name PSEStandalone.
- Enter this application and click...
Map security roles to users and groups- Select the role SearchUser and click on Lookup users.
- On the portal that accesses the EJB, search for the user ID that is set as the WAS Admin User. For example, you can find this ID in the Administrative Console.
- Back on the Administrative Console of the machine where the EJB is installed, type this user ID as the Search String and click Search. As a result, the user ID and its configuration parameters are displayed in the Available box.
- Add this user ID to the Selected box by clicking the double-angled bracket > > .
- Click OK to save your updates.
- Restart the WAS on which the PSEStandalone is installed.
