This topic lists the IBM WebSphere Portal services and gives a brief overview of them.

The following table lists the services with the name. The services are accessible by that name in the IBM WAS administrative console. The second column lists the related WebSphere Portal property files.

For information about the configuration services and their properties refer to Portal configuration services.

The configuration for each service is stored in and can only be changed through the administrative console. For more information about how to set properties refer to Set service configuration properties.
