Navigating
The information center provides a GUI for browsing product documentation.

) displays the titles of the topics in the documentation. The titles are displayed in a table of contents or navigation tree structure. Select the topic titles in the navigation tree to display the topic content in the right pane.
Browsing the history of viewed topics Use Back (
) and Forward () to navigate within the history of viewed topics.
Returning to the table of contents after searching To return to the table of contents after running a search, click the Contents tab (
) at the end of the view.
Finding the location of search results in the table of contents When you follow a link within a topic in the right pane, the navigation tree does not automatically change to display and highlight the new topic. To see where the new topic fits in the navigation tree and synchronize the two views, click Refresh (
) or Show in Table of Contents (). The topic title for the currently displayed topic is highlighted in the navigation tree.
Maximizing and restoring the left and right panes By default you see a right pane that contains the topic of interest and a left pane that contains the navigation or search results. For the right pane, complete the following actions:
- Click the Maximize (
) icon, which precedes the right pane, to maximize the right pane and hide the left pane.
- Click the Restore (
) icon to return to the default view with the left pane and the right pane.
For the left pane, complete the following actions:
- Click the Maximize (
) icon, which precedes the left pane, to maximize the left pane and hide the right pane.
- Click Restore (
) to return to the default view with the left pane and the right pane.
