Kaazing

Kaazing WebSocket Gateway is a full-duplex WebSocket Server for real-time communication over the Web. It can be monitored by JMX. A Kaazing monitor is a JMX monitor with default MBeans.

The most popular domain of application of Kaazing is JMS over WebSocket.

Supported versions

The Kaazing monitor allows monitoring versions 3.x of Kaazing

Connection settings

Defining a monitor on a Kaazing server requires to enable authentication. Password authentication over the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) is enabled by default in JMX. Consequently, it is necessary to have a digital certificate for the hostname of the Gateway in the keystore.db file used by the Gateway. In addition, access to port 2020 must be enabled in the network for the remote monitoring agent to connect to the Gateway.

Please refer to Kaazing documentation for more information about how to create a certificate for the hostname of the Gateway.

For more information about how to import an SSL client certificate in NeoLoad, see Certificate Manager.

Create a Kaazing monitor

NeoLoad makes it possible to create a new monitor either using the monitored machine creation wizard, as described in Create and configure a monitored machine, or from an existing monitored machine, as described in Create and configure a monitor.

Available counters

Kaazing WebSocket Gateway leverages Java Management eXtensions (JMX) to monitor its behavior.
