Can I modify an element of a test in progress or terminated?
The opening of an element in Workstation is conditioned by the header configuration carried out in the first tab in the CA APM preferences panel, as described in NeoLoad module for CA APM. The configuration used is the one defined at the start of the test. The header configuration cannot be modified either during a test or for a test that has already been done.
The CA APM server configuration is the one defined in the second tab in the CA APM preferences panel, regardless of the test. See CA APM workstation.
When all Virtual User instances are traced (percentage of Virtual User instances to be traced equals 100%), CA APM Workstation selects the element that corresponds to the specific instance. Conversely, when some instances are not traced (percentage of Virtual User instances to be traced is less than or equal to 99%), or if no Virtual User instances are traced (tracing by virtual user disabled), CA APM Workstation selects the element in the Virtual User node containing the merged metrics for all instances. See NeoLoad Module for CA APM.
