What does requests/sec mean?

The requests/ sec indicator shows the number of requests per second sent to the server. This indicator allows you to find a system limits. Usually, it should increase with the number of users. If this indicator stops increasing, or decreases even though the number of users is increasing, it probably means that the tested application limits have been reached.
