ICAP Scope of functionality with WebSEAL
The following information captures the scope of integrating ICAP with WebSEAL.
WebSEAL provides support for:
- Request for modification (REQMOD)
- Request for response (RESPMOD)
WebSEAL does not support the following optional aspects of ICAP RFC 3507:
- Message preview
- "204 No Content" Responses outside of previews
- OPTIONS method
- Caching
- Authentication
- Encryption
