Create a self-signed certificate - Novell eDirectory server

To enable SSL, we need a certificate. We can create a self-signed certificate to meet this requirement.

  1. Go to the properties of the Organizational certificate authority C22KNT-CA.

  2. From the Properties window, welect...

Certificate tab > Self Signed Certificate

  3. Validate the certificate.

  4. Export the certificate. The Export a Certificate window is displayed.

  5. Accept the default values and write down the location where the self-signed certificate is saved. For example:

      /c22knt/CA-SelfSignedCert.der

  6. Transfer (FTP) the file to the ISAM host directory. For example:

      /opt/Tivoli/PolicyDirector/keytab

This file is a binary file.
