To install a supported registry other than IBM Security Directory Server, use the registry product's documentation. For a list of supported registries, see Product requirements. Ensure that all necessary operating system patches are installed. The IBM Security Directory Server client must be used as the registry client for LDAP-based user registries.
To use an existing registry server with ISAM, upgrade the server to a version supported by this release of ISAM. For other supported registries, consult the registry product's documentation.
