Authentication configuration scenarios

Use the configuration scenarios to create a custom configuration for the environment.

• Configure step-up authentication
  The appliance reverse proxy server can be configured to use the authentication service for step-up authentication. The user is required to complete an authentication policy flow when the policy (ACL or POP) dictates the user steps up to a higher authentication level.
• Configure authentication
  The appliance reverse proxy server can be configured to use the authentication service for authentication. The user will be required to complete an authentication policy flow when the ISAM policy (ACL or POP) dictates the user authenticates.
