Protected object policies

Protected object policies (POPs) contain additional conditions that must be met before granting access to a user or group.

Unlike ACLs, which are dependent on what user or group is attempting the action, POPs affect all users and groups. POPs also indicate whether requests must be audited. It is the responsibility of ISAM and the resource manager to enforce the POP conditions.
