Configure SSL connections
Configure Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections to enable encrypted communication between the LDAP policy information point (PIP) and the LDAP Server to ensure that LDAP traffic is secure and confidential.
After you import a server certificate, the appliance can authenticate with the LDAP server. For more information, see Manage SSL certificates.
- Log in to the local management interface.
- Select System > Secure Settings > SSL Certificates.
- Import the LDAP server certificate into the trust store of the runtime profile. For example: rt_profile_keys.
