The interface supports the following authentication mechanisms:

The server uses the certificates found in the lmi_trust_store certificate database when it authenticates a client certificate. Therefore, to successfully authenticate against the server, the certificate database must contain either the client certificate itself, or the certificate of the CA that signed the client certificate. As a prerequisite for client certificate authentication, configure your browser to trust the CA for the appliance server certificate. In addition, the URL in the request must match the domain name of the appliance.
