Browser does not update the application certificate

The application certificate that is displayed by the browser on ISIM login page is not updated after the Application Interface IP and FQDN are updated on the virtual appliance.


Problem

  1. Modify the application interface IP and FQDN on the IBM Security Identity Manager virtual appliance console.
  2. Restart ISIM server.
  3. Verify that new application server certificate is generated from Configure > Application Server Certificate Management.
The browser shows the older certificate on ISIM login page.


Solution

Restart ISIM server.
