Window layout

When logging in to the system, the Home page provides a place for you to select the work to accomplish. It also provides a place to perform the tasks associated with the work.

Use the links, buttons, and other controls that the user interface provides. Do not use the back and forward buttons of your browser, which might produce unpredictable results. By default, the interface contains these elements:

Browser menu bar
Your web browser menu bar is located at the top of the window.

Browser buttons
Your browser buttons are located below the browser menu. Do not use the Back button to return to a page in the interface. Instead, use any links located on the taskbar to go back to a previous page.

Banner
A company or product banner is displayed, and you can click it to navigate to the associated link.

Taskbar
Below the product banner is the taskbar. The left corner of this taskbar displays your welcome information. It can contain links for navigating back out from a task we are in the process of completing. Additionally, the right corner contains links to Help and Logoff. Help opens the context-sensitive help topic for the active window. Logoff will log you out of the system.

Workspace
The workspace is the bottom area of the window. It displays the main categories of tasks you can perform to manage your identity, and might include tasks that require your attention. The task categories we see are determined by the system administrator.

The Home page can also include other interface elements, such as a left side navigation pane. These elements are configured by the system administrator.
