Password synchronization

Password synchronization is the process of assigning and maintaining one password for all individual accounts that a user owns. Password synchronization reduces the number of passwords that a user must remember.

Password synchronization applies only to individual accounts. Sponsored accounts are not affected by password synchronization.

You can manage all your individual accounts with the same password or you can have a different password for each account. If password synchronization is enabled, your password is the same for all your individual accounts. It is changed (or reset) for all of your individual accounts automatically.

If password synchronization is not enabled, you can specify different passwords for your accounts.
