Assign a service owner to ISIM service

james_owner is the id of an administrator who maintains several systems and department applications. james_owner is also a service owner of the ISIM system. Service owner responsibilities include creating and modifying provisioning policies and workflows for services. Those tasks are defined in later service owner scenarios. The service owner can also be a backend application server that uses an ISIM service id/password to make calls to ISIM for registration-related activities.

To assign a service owner:

Log on to ISIM administrative console as itim manager and go to:

Manage Services > Select a Service
1. In the Services table information file, type ITIM Service and click Search.

2. From the results select...
   ITIM Service > Change

3. On the Change Service page in the Owner field, click Search.

4. On the Select People page, type james_owner and click Search.

5. Select the radio button next to james_owner and click OK.

6. On the Success page, click Close.
