Scenario: Access definition on a shared folder

This scenario describes defining an access on a shared folder in ISIM.

Most employees who work in the same department share information. Often this shared information is stored in a folder so that employees can alternately read, write, and modify information. For easy access to this folder and to create an audit trail to meet compliance criteria, we can define an access on the shared folder. Access definitions are not limited to shared folders. We can define access on other managed resources, such as email groups and applications.
