Security properties

Log on to the Appliance Dashboard of ISIM virtual appliance console to modify these security properties.

1. In the Quick Links widget of the Appliance Dashboard, click Identity Administration Console.

2. Log on to ISIM Console.

3. Select Set Systems Security > Set Security Properties to modify these security properties.

• Password settings
  Click Set Systems Security > Set Security Properties to modify these password properties.
• IBM Security Identity Manager login account settings
  We can modify security settings to limit the number of days an account is valid or to limit the number of incorrect login attempts.
• Group settings
  We can select to modify the group properties automatically.
• Default settings for provisioning policy when a new service is created
  Select the default setting for provisioning policies when new services are created. We might not want to create a default policy when a new service is created if the amount of time to evaluate the default policy for all users is significant.
