Microsoft Azure support
The Security Identity Manager virtual appliance for Microsoft Azure is distributed as a preinstalled disk image of the virtual appliance in the VHD format. Deploying Security Identity Manager on Microsoft Azure involves the following processes:
- Uploading the Azure-ready VHD to Microsoft Azure.
- Deploying the image as a new virtual machine using Azure Portal or the command line.
- Set up the ports for the ISIM management and application interfaces in the Azure dashboard.
See:
- Create a custom size Azure compliant Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) file
- Uploading the Azure-ready VHD to Azure and creating an Azure Image
- Create a Security Identity Manager virtual machine from an image in Azure
- Set up the ISIM ports in Microsoft Azure
