DSPLANSTS (Display Local Area Network Status) Command Description

DSPLANSTS Command syntax diagram

Purpose

The Display Local Area Network Status (DSPLANSTS) command shows the status of an active token-ring or a distributed data interface (DDI) line.

Note: The DDI line status is the status of the local network from the perspective of the local adapter.

Required Parameter

LINE
Specifies the name of the active line description being used by the local area network (LAN) manager.

Optional Parameter

OUTPUT
Specifies whether the output from the command is shown at the requesting workstation or printed with the job's spooled output. More information on this parameter is in commonly used parameters.

*: Output requested by an interactive job is shown on the display. Output requested by a batch job is printed with the job's spooled output.

*PRINT: The output is printed with the job's spooled output.
