IBM World Clock


The World Clock portlet allows users to view current local times around the world. The World Clock portlet allows users to set their local time zone and view the current time in that time zone. It also allows users to view the current local time in several time zones around the world at one time. Users can also do a quick search for the current local time in an individual time zone.

 

Use World Clock

Users must have edit or greater permission to work with World Clock. Note: The portlet is dependent on the time provided by the server machine that is running WebSphere Portal Server to make its calculations.

pda-icon This configuration parameter is used to display portlet icons on a PDA device and therefore applies to WebSphere Everyplace Access customers only. This parameter should only be modified by the administrator.
