Configure the IBM Service log file
Use the administrative console to configure the IBM Service log for an application server. Configuration changes for the activity log that are made to a running application server are not applied until the next restart of the application server.
Perform these steps to configure the IBM Service log:
- Start the administrative console.
- Expand Troubleshooting and click Logs and Trace.
- Click the link for the server you wish to configure.
- Click IBM Service Logs.
- Select the Configuration tab.
- Scroll through the panel to display the attributes for the stream to be configured.
- Change the appropriate configuration attributes. See IBM Service log settings
for a description of the attributes for the IBM Service log.
- Click the Apply button.
- Click the Save link at the top of the page to save your configuration changes. Click Save on the resulting page.
