Step 3: Create an initial configuration

This topic describes how to configure your iSeries server, the WAS environment, and your HTTP server so that WAS runs correctly.

To create an initial configuration for WAS for iSeries, perform these steps:

1. Configure software license information
   This step describes how to configure software license information for WAS.

2. Set SQL server jobs
   This step describes how to set the maximum number of jobs that are allowed for the SQL server jobs.

3. Configure TCP/IP
   This step describes how to configure TCP/IP for WAS.

4. Configure an HTTP server instance
