Save the configuration

 

When you make changes to your application server's configuration, save the changes before they take effect. The administrative console prompts you with a message at the top of the browser window when it detects that changes have been made.

To save your updated configuration, follow these steps:

  1. Click Save in the message or in the task menu.

  2. On the Save to Master Configuration screen, you can save or discard your changes.

    If you are working with a Network Deployment instance, select Synchronize changes with Nodes. If you do not synchronize the changes at this time, the changes are not propagated to the nodes until the next synchronization.

    • To save your changes, click Save.
    • To discard your changes, click Discard.
