Determining the usage limit for products priced by processor

The usage limit of some licensed-enabled packaged products is based on the number of processors that you have configured to i5/OS® logical partitions.

The usage of some software products may be counted based on the total number of processors that are configured to the logical partitions in which the products run. These are licensed-enabled packaged products that have a usage type of *PROCESSOR. You can view the usage type of these products by using the Work with License Information (WRKLICINF) command. Use option 5 (Display detail) to display the license information detail.

To determine the usage limit for *PROCESSOR usage-type products on either IBM® eServer™ i5 or IBM eServer p5 servers, see Requirements for i5/OS on IBM eServer p5 servers .
