Examples: Independent disk pool configurations
Independent disk pools can be switchable among a group of systems in a cluster, providing the benefits of continuous availability of the disk units they contain. Or they can be stand-alone (or dedicated) on a single system, independent of the rest of the storage on the system.
- Examples: Dedicated independent disk pools
In a single-system environment, a dedicated (or stand-alone), independent disk pool can be varied off independent of other disk pools because the data in the independent disk pool is self-contained.
