Display and change hardware configuration

 

Use the following topics to learn how to display and change your server's hardware configuration.

• Display the console log for the logical partition
  You can use the display console log for the logical partition to see console information for the logical partition running Linux.

• Display the operating environment of secondary partitions
  You can use the display partition operating environment display to see which release of the operating system each logical partition is running.

• Display the reference code history for secondary partitions
  A reference code indicates a status or an error condition.

• Change the logical partition host information
  A hosted logical partition is dependent on an i5/OS^® partition for some or all I/O resources. The hosting i5/OS partition can either be a primary or a secondary partition.
