Scheduling a batch job using iSeries Navigator

 

The Job Properties - Job Queue window provides a way for you to schedule a batch job to run now, run once at a specific date and time or run at regular intervals (such as the first day of each month). To schedule a job using iSeries™ Navigator, follow the following instructions:

1. Expand My Connections > server > Work Management > Job Queues > Active Job Queues or All Job Queues > The job queue that contains your job.

2. Right-click the job and click Properties.

3. On the Job Properties window, click the Job Queues tab.

4. To schedule the job, use the options that are located under When to make job available to run.
