Granting remote access for Windows XP

 

To grant remote access using Windows^® XP Incoming Connections Properties, follow these steps.

1. Click Start.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Control Panel.

4. Select Network and Dial-up Connections.

   If Incoming Connections does not exist, install it.

5. Click Incoming Connection Properties.

6. In the Users allowed to connect field, select the check box next to the user ID for which you want to grant remote access.
