Display information with Database Health Center
Use the Database Health Center to capture information about your database. You can view the total number of objects, the size limits of selected objects in your database, and the design limits of selected objects.
To start the Health Center, follow these steps:
- In the iSeries™ Navigator window, expand the system that you want to use.
- Expand Databases.
- Right-click the database that you want to work with and select Health Center.
You can change your preferences by clicking Change and entering filter information. Click Refresh to update the information.
To save your health center history, do the following:
- In the iSeries Navigator window, expand the system you want to use.
- Expand Databases.
- Right-click the database that you want to work with and select Health Center.
- On the Health center dialog, select the area that you want to save. For example, if you want to save the current overview, click Save on the Overview. Size limits and Design limits are not saved.
- Specify a schema and table to save the information. You can view the contents of the selected table by clicking View Contents. If you select to save information to a table that does not exist, the system will create the table for you.
