Partitioning with an eServer i5

 

Use this information if you plan to partition with an eServer™ i5 model for managing your i5/OS^® logical partition.

You can install AIX^®, Linux^®, and i5/OS on eServer 5xx iSeries™ models. An iSeries server running these operating systems embraces new applications with increased reliability.

If you plan on partitioning an eServer i5 model refer to the logical partitioning information in the IBM^® Systems Hardware Information Center.
